When ya gotta go ya gotta go! Right? …I’m talking about the dreaded public restroom! Some can be the dirtiest places on the planet. But why? think it’s mostly due to the fact that because some people think it's a public facility, and there are people hired to clean the area, they don't need to take responsibility for cleaning up behind themselves. I hate the condition that some people leave the public restroom in. These people are disgusting! They make messes in places there shouldn't be messes. They leave paper towels and puddles all over the counter. They pee all over the seat and don't wipe it off. They don't flush. They clog the toilet. They get defecation on the floor, stall walls, and seat. It's disgusting. There is no reason for that. Aaarrghhhh!! I feel bad for the kids that go alone and don't know to watch out for in public restrooms. Then there are the morons who just have to share their brain farts by writing or drawing disrespectful, nasty and trashy things on the walls. Why can’t people just respect other people's property! Have they ever thought that their idiotic scribbling may generate a bad impact on kids and children? People no longer have respect for anything. I hear the women’s room is a lot worse than the men’s. There is always pee on the seats from the hover technique, or shreds of TP scattered about from the blanket approach. Perhaps if all the ladies were too actually sit down there wouldn’t be pee on the seats. People really need to be more considerate to others, especially in the rest room. And hey, I heard best way to minimize risk and germs in a public restroom is to use the stall closest to the restroom door. The ones closest to the door have the lowest bacteria levels due to the fact that people want privacy and they usually go to the one furthest away from the door. It makes me laugh that people wash their hands after using the toilet to be honest... unless the taps are automatic. I think taps should be all automatic or knee/foot operated. At least that way, when you wash your hands you know they are clean and staying clean. People turn the taps on with dirty hands, wash their hands, then put them back on the same dirty taps to turn them off again and then they touch the dirty door handle to leave, they just defeated the purpose of washing their hands. The people who don't wash their hands touch that handle. I always use a paper towel or if one isn't available my shirt to open the door. Also, I do agree that if one sees an employee use a restroom and leave without washing hands, it should be reported to management. Especially a restaurant employee. C’mon people…Smarten Up!
